14K Solid gold
14kt solid gold is a durable metal and will not discolor. But it can get dull with regular wear. The beauty of solid gold is no matter how dull it gets, you can always bring the shine back.
Here’s how to get the most out of your solid gold pieces:
- Soak in slightly warm and soapy water. Then, scrub gently with a soft-bristled brush.
- Buff gently with a gold polishing cloth
Additional golden tips:
- Remove before bathing/exercising
- Put them on last to avoid perfumes/lotions coming in contact with the metal
Sterling silver
Our sterling silver pieces are made with 92.5% pure silver, topped with a luxurious rhodium coating and an additional layer of anti-tarnish.
Here’s a few tips to keep your sterling silver pieces looking new, always:
- Buff with silver polishing cloth.
- Store in a dry place when not in use. Ideally in the pouch we provide for your jewels.
- Scrub gently with a soft-bristled brush after soaking your piece in slight warmy and soapy water for a few minutes.
- Avoid wearing in the shower/pool/gym.
Gold vermeil
Sterling silver topped with a a generous coating of gold is known as gold vermeil. We go a step further and layer our gold vermeil pieces with an anti-tarnish coating.
Gold vermeil is not solid gold, but give it solid care and you’ll have them for years to come
What to avoid:
- Avoid bringing your piece in contact with water. Remove your gold vermeil pieces before washing your hands/shower/getting in the pool
- Put them on last to avoid coming in contact with perfumes/lotions
- Remove before your workout
What to do:
- Scrub your gold vermeil piece with a soft-bristled brush after soaking it in warm, soapy water for 3-4 minutes
- Store in the pouch provided when not in use
- Wear them often! Get the most out of your pieces. No special occasion required.
